Flock of 9 Chaffinches have started visiting us, they're treating us like a take-away restaurant! Have to refill the feeders every day, even the Woodmouse is making the most of any seed the Chaffinches drop and is filling it's little pouch up with as much as it can!
The Robin has started singing it's territorial song at the top of the tree every day now, I guess that means he will start chasing away the juveniles soon.

Lovely shots of the Jays, must be great to have not one but two visiting your garden!
It's actually the first time I've ever seen a Jay & they are gorgeous birds. We had a family of 5 of them visit us in June/July but I only managed to photograph 2 - unfortunately they're not so regular now.
Those other Jays are very opportunistic birds, Sharon; any free meal when the buried stacks run out is good, and I bet you they'll all come at once.
I am trying to figure where you are based. You have the same birds as me, and a lot of Irish flags on your map, so are you a garden in Eire somewhere? or Scotland, one of the islands, or ...
